A NIGHT OWL REVIEWS BOOK REVIEW | Reviewed by: Angibabi4
JD Robb has done it again with her "In Death" series. I absolutely love her books. She totally immerses the reader in the story. I started reading the "In Death" series 10 years ago and anxiously await each new installment. The storylines are awesome, the chemistry between all the characters is phenomenal, and the sex is sizzling. Roarke and Eve's love story never disappoints and gets better with each book. This story finds Eve and Peabody major players in the vid of Nadine's book on the Icove case. The only thing Eve hates worse than shopping is being in the spotlight. This story puts her smack dab in the middle of things. The actors portraying Eve, Roarke, Peabody, and McNab take center stage when a murder occurs during a dinner party for the cast and crew, as well as the real team that was instrumental in solving the Icove case. It doesn't help that the murder victim is portraying Peabody in the vid, or the fact that everybody has a reason to want her dead. Can Eve, Roarke, Peabody, and McNab wade through all the Hollywood drama and hype to catch a killer that will kill again? Join me in this installment of the "In Death" series you will not be disappointed.

Book Blurb for Celebrity In Death
Lieutenant Eve Dallas is no party girl, but she's managing to have a reasonably good time at the celebrity-packed bash celebrating The Icove Agenda, a film based on one of her famous cases. It's a little spooky seeing the actress playing her, who looks almost like her long-lost twin. Not as unsettling, though, as seeing the actress who plays Peabody drowned in the lap pool on the roof of the director's luxury building. Now she's at the center of a crime scene-and Eve is more than ready to get out of her high heels and strap on her holster and step into the role she was born to play: cop.
