A NIGHT OWL REVIEWS BOOK REVIEW | Reviewed by: Barb
I'm sorry to have to give this book a lower rating, but I was not able to get "into" this book. I think the story line was good and could have been fleshed out more. I like Christian books, but this took the religion a little too far. Every other word seemed to be "Jesus" or "prayer". Caleb tried to get Hope to restore her belief in God throughout the whole story line. There was the continuing stalking and harassment of Hope, along with many attempts on her life. The ending was both a surprise and not a surprise. I read very quickly and must admit that I skipped pages in this book because I felt that I was getting bogged down. Hope and Caleb did not seem that they should be together at the beginning, but towards the ending you could feel some sparks between them. I would recommend this as a light read if you wanted just an afternoon off to chill.

Book Blurb for Accident Waiting to Happen
She’s worth more to me dead than alive… Devastated to learn her fiancé is nothing more than a con artist after her inheritance, Hope Pearson is seeking refuge at the Circle C ranch when her brakes give out, sending her careening into a gully and Caleb McBryde’s life. Though her lines don’t appear cut, the ex Texas Ranger finds the circumstances surrounding her crash landing in Serenity Cove, Texas highly suspicious. For calamity seems to shadow the woman… One might say she’s An Accident Waiting to Happen.
