Hi Cynthia! It's a pleasure to have you on to chat with us. What is your book "A Pawn For Malice" about?
A thrilling, passionate, and suspenseful romance that entails, self-discovery, survival and a love that is so strong, it conquers the evil trappings of a criminal mind.
What should readers expect from you titles?
Raw, human emotion.
What's next for you as an author?
I still aspire to make a best seller's list and would love to see one of my books make it to the big screen. I am truly a die-hard romantic, and as I stated earlier, I love to listen to my play list while writing. I committed to creating a series, based on the titles of some of the greatest love songs ever written. My 'Love Song Standards" series was created in Jan. 2016, and I managed to complete the first 6 books in the series. This year, my focus is on finishing the final four: All The Way, It's Impossible, Sincerely, and Unforgettable.
If you could travel to another time, would you choose past or future or would you stick where you are at? And Why?
Growing up in the 50's to me, was truly the best. There was a stronger sense of community and family back then. Companies cared about and appreciated their employees. It was a more patriotic era and not as cut-throat as it is today. Our local politicians lived the cause, representing their constituents with heart and passion.
Do you feel music has inspired your writing?
Most definitely. I have a play list of 500 romantic love songs, that is always playing in the background to help inspire me.
What's your best vacation experience?
Shortly after my divorce, two girlfriends coerced me into a trip to St. Thomas in hopes of pulling me from the maudlin state of heartbreak I was in. One hour after our arrival, we were out by the pool overlooking the gorgeous Caribbean, when we spotted a naval destroyer coming into port. We had no idea it was one of their port-of-calls for leave. We were doted on, wooed, adored, and spoiled for twelve glorious days ... need I say more **wink**wink**
What technological advancement could you not live without?
Computer for sure. I just upgraded to an 28-inch all-in-one with a matching dual screen for doing research, while I write. I remember handwriting my first book, sitting at a library for hours. It was a long and tedious process back then. Modern technology has taken it to a whole new level.
It's been great having you over.
It was such a joy, sharing a little bit about me with you. Thank you for taking the time to kick back for a few wee moments to check out my interview. Best wishes for a fantabulous 2017!
