Hi Michelle. It's great to have you on for an interview. Over the years I've seen so many of your wonderful books come across my desk. Please tell us about your latest.
SKY RAIDERS - "Sky Raiders" is a romantic space opera. It's about a planet that's invaded by aliens who are far more technologically advanced. Some of the people on the planet have special abilities, though, so even though they can't fight the aliens on a fair playing field, they have some tricks up their sleeve. One of these special people, Garek, returns home to find his lover, Taya, has been taken by the aliens, and he sets out to rescue her. The tagline of the book is 'Nothing can keep them apart. Not even space itself.' That pretty much sums it up.
What should readers expect from you titles?
Strong heroines, complex plots, lots of action and adventure, and a romance.
What's next for you as an author?
The next book in the Sky Raiders series, Calling the Change, is my next project.
Getting a book to market often takes a village. Who has helped you on the way?
My critique partners, Edie Ramer and Kim Hudson, and the many other people who carefully proof my book for errors. My readers also help me a great deal. Their enthusiasm for the next book keeps my fingers on the keyboard.
What is your favorite way to procrastinate?
If you could travel to another time, would you choose past or future or would you stick where you are at? And Why?
I'm happy to travel in my imagination, rather than reality. I don't think we've ever had things so good as we do now, historically speaking, and who know what the future will bring?
What technological advancement could you not live without?
The internet. It is absolutely vital to my writing career, and for my down times, too.
