If you need a break from the serious books, then this one is for you. You will find this book to be funny and yet there is a little sexiness to it. At times you will find yourself laughing and you can't stop. The author has really given a stress reliever in this book. It is a little bit for everyone, contemporary fiction, romance and humor. The author does a good job of describing the characters who are like many today, dysfunctional but their everyday lives are somewhat funny.

When some of the residents of a home for the aged discover a body, not dead, at their doorstep they find out it's the Sheriff. Now, WHO SHOT THE SHERIFF? No it didn't come from the song.Then we are introduced to a couple different characters, two sisters who have always tried to outdo each other. One of the sister's thinks she is moving to Paris, but on the wedding day, she discovers her husband is taking her to Kansas City. After settling in Ruby begins to make new friends and starts to enjoy living there. But what about the Sheriff? Who shot him and why?

The author has a lot of twists and turns in this book and with each one is a little bit of humor. Follow Ruby on her travel to Kansas and then, WHO SHOT THE SHERIFF?
