"The Art of Fear" is the story of Ari, a girl with a tough and traumatic past, who decides to create a support group, where she meets a girl that completely changes her life.
I know my synopsis of the book is very vague, but I really didn’t want to spoil anything because the book was just that good! It’s very dark and thrilling, and it covers so many heavy topics likes suicide and human trafficking and that’s just naming a couple.
The characters were all raw, emotional and realistic. I could really relate to them, especially Ari, the main character. I could feel her pain and emotions and relate to her experiences.
The storyline was very riveting and brilliantly plotted. It was filled with many twists and turns that left me in awe. I loved it. I’ve been craving a gritty, dark thriller and this was perfect!
One of my favorite things about the book was the writing style. It was almost poetic. Each sentence was well-crafted and creative, and I liked how it really went with the pacing of the story.
Overall, this was a thrilling, emotional ride, and I highly recommend it, especially if you’re are looking for a really good, exciting thriller.
A life no girl should endure. A father no daughter could love. A twist no one would predict.
