I was pleasantly surprised to discover that series romances have come a very long way since I read them several decades ago. This story deftly ensnared my attention with its combination of suspense and romance that gradually escalate until the exciting final showdown. Ms Graves does a wonderful job of conjuring the contrasting world of advanced technology and small town life and her characters are intriguing and personable. This was a great quick read that had plenty of depth and I will definitely be looking for other stories from this talented author.
