Welcome to the adventures of the Intergalactic Dating Agency. This is the first book in a spin off series where the aliens come to Earth instead of the females going to Dakon. You don’t have to read the original series, Alien Mate, to jump right in and enjoy this one but you may find yourself going to find it. (I did.) This story has hope, family issues, surprises and a happy ending. It also has a culture clash which causes a few problems but makes for some great humor. Lexi is happy with her life but gets reminded, a lot, that she isn’t as accomplished as her siblings and therefore will never get married. She does show spunk and individuality which causes more friction with her mother. She’s a very well written character. Darak is dealing with a lot of change and he’s really not sure what is expected of him. Nothing is what he expected. Darak makes a perfect straight man as he bumbles around trying to figure out Earth culture. This book truly was pure pleasure to read. I loved that it was fun and imaginative. Though it felt a bit short….or maybe it was just because I wanted more…..it is complete.
Lexi’s younger sister is getting married which is amazing for several reasons. The first is there are few men who want commitment when there are more women than men. It’s easier for the men to just play the field. And, she’s marrying her boss. Plus he’s someone their mother likes. These are also reasons that Lexi’s mother uses to show how much Lexi has failed. Knowing that it would drive her mother crazy, Lexi turns to the Intergalactic Dating Agency to find a date for her sister’s wedding. Darak has been paired with Lexi. He’s traveling to Earth to find a bride, not a date. Can Lexi and Darak get what they want?
Intergalactic Dating Agency
Revenge is best served sweet with a hot, horned alien
Free-spirited pastry chef Lexi Sutterman has discovered that true love is pie in the sky. The only thing more difficult than finding an Earth man willing to commit is pleasing her wealthy, hypercritical family who view her as a failure. So she’s given up on both, focusing her energy on her new bakery. Now that her uber successful little sister manages to nab a well-heeled fiancé, Lexi fights back by joining the Intergalactic Dating Agency. She plans to bring a huge, purple, tentacled alien as her plus-one to the wedding.
Darak of planet Dakon isn't purple or tentacled—he’s just seven feet of horned alien hotness. To get a woman on his world, a guy has to literally win the lottery. Tired of waiting for the Fates to send him a female, he joins the dating service to meet a nice Earth girl to call his own. He recognizes Lexi as his true mate, but realizes convincing her they’re meant to be together forever and not just a weekend will be no cake walk.
But when a sweet-tart pastry chef and a horned alien hottie fall in love, everyone might get their just desserts…
