Ghost in the Wind

A Haunted Guesthouse Mystery, #7

In the seventh offering from EJ Copperman, Alison Kerby is about to sit down to movie night with her family and friends when she sees floating before her the ghost of her musical idol, 1960s English rock star Vance McTiernan. He’s in desperate need of help from Alison and her resident ghostly gumshoe, Paul Harrison to prove his daughter was murdered. While Alison agrees to help, Paul is suspicious of Vance’s motives. But after the body of the alleged killer is found in the movie room, Alison and Paul realize they have to act fast to find the real killer.

I always enjoy the Haunted Guesthouse mysteries, m ainly because of the dry humor that EJ Copperman injects into it. The characters are always quirky and amusing, and there are lots and lots of red herrings thrown in. Still going strong with #7 – where’s 8 and 9????? Four Paws. – ROCCO LOTEMPIO
